Germany – The German Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA) has published an updated electronic questionnaire for reporting under the German Supply Chain Act (LkSG). Companies subject to reporting requirements can now find the questionnaire as an online input mask on BAFA's website. Companies are required to create their reports via the input mask and submit them to BAFA. A one-time registration is required for this purpose. The report must be submitted no later than four months after the respective fiscal year and published on the company's own website. By doing so, companies fulfill a key element of their corporate due diligence obligations.
