About us

Founded in 2018, Envoria today consists of a dedicated team of experienced sustainability and finance professionals who form our company's heart.

Our software solution is designed for analyzing, controlling, and reporting sustainability and financial metrics in large corporations and medium-sized businesses. Functionality and user-friendliness of the SaaS solution are our top priorities while ensuring compliance with essential legal and regulatory requirements.

2018


Financial Software Architects GmbH is founded, forming the company behind the two successful software brands Envoria (ESG reporting) and Contavio (financial reporting).

2022


The management team, led by founders Sven Schubert (CEO), Stefan Siemers (CFO), and Thimo Brinkmann (CTO), undergoes restructuring. Co-founder Andreas Ahlert becomes Entrepreneur in Residence, and Julian Göbel joins as the new Chief Sustainability Officer and Managing Director.

2024


Financial Software Architects GmbH transitions to Envoria GmbH. Envoria and Contavio merge into Envoria, uniting ESG and finance reporting, as well as software solutions, under one strong brand.

Our mission is to make employees' daily sustainability and financial reporting work simple and efficient. Our software solution is designed to help companies grow in a way that benefits their business and the planet.

  • Promote sustainability: We enable companies to best align sustainability and profitability by making sustainability reporting simple, audit-proof, and yet compliant with regulations.
  • Accelerate financial compliance: We help companies simplify their financial reporting by professionalizing leasing accounting according to IFRS 16 and revenue recognition according to IFRS 15, making them more efficient yet aligned with regulations.

Environmental actions we take

  • We live in a paperless office as we think before we print and send contracts digitally
  • We hold job interviews up to 100% digitally to avoid travel and protect the environment
  • We hold 90% of customer meetings remotely, or we choose an eco-friendly travel alternative
  • We compensate the carbon footprint in the rare case of flying to a customer or event
  • We plant 10 trees in a natural reserve for every new employee
  • We choose company merchandise that is made of 100% eco-friendly material
  • For our equipment, we rely on refurbished laptops of Grade A quality
  • We power our servers, including our private cloud and this website, with 100% renewable sources

Social actions we take

  • We ensure equal pay and support female leadership to increase the share of women in key positions
  • We give two days per year to every employee to invest in a social or environmental heart project
  • We strive for a diverse team with different ages and professional, educational, and cultural backgrounds
